Bicarbonate
The bicarbonate (or hydrogénocarbonate ) is a polyatomic Ion whose Chemical formula is H C O 3-. It is about the intermediate form between the deprotonation of the carbon Dioxide : to remove the first Proton (Ion H+) of carbon dioxide gives bicarbonate; to remove the second proton will give the ionic form Carbonate.
The word is written in the plural (bicarbonates) when they are the salts of the ion bicarbonate about which one speaks. For example, the Bicarbonate of sodium (soda with paste) NaHCO3. The bicarbonates which come into contact with Acide S the such acetic Acid of the Vinaigre will transform into Carbon dioxide gas. This process is employed in Cuisson to make it possible the Pain to raise and also at the time of the Propulsion of the rocket S toys.
The ion bicarbonate can be formed starting from carbon dioxide in water (Dioxide carbon):
Human physiology
