Bezons is a common department of the Val-d'Oise, in the area Île-de-France, in France.

Geography

Bezons is located on Right Bank of the the Seine, to 10 km in the North-West of the doors of Paris. The city is southernmost of the communes of the department of the Val-d'Oise.

Located at the limits of three departments, Val-d'Oise, Hauts-de-Seine and Yvelines, Bezons are near the poles of Defense (to 3,5 km) and of Cergy-Pontoise.

History

19th century: birth of an industrial town
