Beyond reality

Beyond reality ( The Outer Limits ) is a American Televised series , in 49 episodes 52 minutes, black and white, created by Leslie Stevens and diffused September 16th 1963 with the January 16th 1965 on the network ABC. In France, the series was diffused starting from the July 14th 1972 on the first chain of ORTF.

A second series, entitled Beyond reality: the adventure continues , in 154 52 minutes episodes, colors, was also diffused between the March 26th 1995 and the September 3rd 2000 on the network Showtime then between the March 16th 2001 and the January 18th 2002 on Sci-Fi Chanel. In France, the first four seasons of the series were diffused as from the November 18th 1995 on Série Club then on M6, and the three following seasons, starting from the January 5th 2002 on Cinéfaz then on 13th street. With the Quebec, the series is diffused on Z tele.

Synopsis

Populated monsters and explosive devices, this series of science fiction, whose episodes do not have any bond the ones with the others (with share a handle of exceptions of the second series), is largely inspired by the Fourth Dimension ( The Twilight Zone ). The stories put in scene very often have social and political contents, undoubtedly because of the time of Cold war which lived the the United States and the the USSR.
