Beuvry-the-Forest

Beuvry-the-Forest is a common French, located in the department of the Northern (59) and the area Nord-Pas-de-Calais.

Its inhabitants is called the beuvrygeois.

Geography

Beuvry-the-forest is a commune of the country of Pévèle located near Orchies besides (there exists a community of communes between the two cities).

The city is cut into two by the highway A23 which connects Lille to Valencian, the two parts are: Beuvry-center and Beuvry-station

History

The city was a dependence of the Abbaye of Marchiennes. It became a parish with whole share only in 1227.
