Beuil

Beuil is a common French, located in the department of the the Alpes-Maritimes and the area Provence-Alp-Coast of Azure. Its inhabitants is the Beuillois .

Boglio is the official form before 1860.
In language Niçois E (Georges Castellana), one says Buèi and read Buienc for the inhabitants.

Geography

Located in top of the Throats of Cians, to 1.450 m of altitude and 78 km of Nice, Beuil forms with Launes (common of Beuil) and Valberg (common of Péone), one of the three greater winter sports resorts of the the Alps d' Azur, two others being Isola 2000 (common of Isola) and Auron (common of Saint-Etienne-with-Tinée).

Located in peripheral zone of the National park of Mercantour, the site enjoys a fauna and a flora rich person and diversified: Coniferous S, flowers, Marmot S, Chamois, wild wolves…

History
