Beugnies
Beugnies is a common French, located in the department of the Northern and the area Nord-Pas-de-Calais.
Geography
History
On the feudal level, this village always depended on Avesnes. Its furnace bridge was given in 1103 to the abbey of Liessies. The abbeys of Hautmont and Alder had there also some goods. June 14th, 1815, Napoleon and the Large army crossed Beugnies in order to go to Waterloo.
