Bettant

Bettant is a common French, located in the department of the Ain and the area the Rhone-Alps. Its inhabitants are named Bettaniers.

Geography

Commune of the Bugey , located in the agglomeration of Ambérieu-in-Bugey. Located in the plain of the Albarine, the commune consists of two parts: Bettant-Haut (in the east) and Bettant-Bas (in the west). The limits north and is commune follow about the river. The southern part of the commune corresponds to the northern side of the Mountain of Colloverge.

  • Each year in the neighborhoods of on August 15th is organized the Hill climb of Bettant (automobile sport).
  • Each year about on July 20th is organized the festival of the village " the FESTIVAL Of BATTEUSE" with generally a great Folk group, old trade, and even since 2006 a Vacuum ATTIC, all association takes part in the organization, the meal, the refreshment bar and the evening finished very late in the night with FREE ball
