Betsy Nagelsen

Betsy Nagelsen McCormack (born the October 23rd 1956) is an American player of Tennis .

She began her career Professionnel in 1973, year when she was number one world junior.

In 1978, it played the final of the Open of Australia, being inclined against Chris O' Neil. It is its best performance into simple in a tounoi of the Grand Slam.

In nearly forty years, in 1996, it took part in double the ladies with Wimbledon, at the sides of Monica Seles: it is about its last appearance in official competition.

Betsy Nagelsen gained twenty-six titles WTA, including three into simple.

Later, she commented on matches of tennis for the Télévision on the American chains ABC , ESPN and Chanel Nine in Australia.

She was the wife of the business man Mark McCormack, the creator of IMG, with which she founded the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center within very the select College off William and Mary in Virginia.
