Bertrange (the Moselle)
Bertrange-Imeldange is a common French located in the department of the the Moselle in Lorraine.
Geography
The commune is to 6 km of Thionville. The most point of the village is at the exit East of Bertrange, in direction of Stuckange, on the hill of the " Kan-Perch " who culminates with 207m of altitude.
History
Bertrange-Imeldange can be also written Bertrange-Immeldange, indeed, the fact of writing with one or two m the word Imeldange are not false, because the two writings exist well. Since July 21st, 1945, Bertrange is sponsored by the town of Vourles, which helped Bertrange during the Second world war. To commemorate this sponsorship, which has lasted for more than 60 years, Bertrange has a street of Vourles. And the commune of Vourles made in the same way with the street of Bertrange-Imeldange.
