Bertrand Poirot-Delpech
Bertrand Poirot-Delpech (February 10th 1929 with Paris - November 14th 2006 with Paris) is a journalist, essay writer and novelist French, member of the French Academy of 1986 to its death. He worked in particular for the daily newspaper Le Monde.
Biography
Scout in its youth, it had made its first weapons of journalist to the daily newspaper Jamboree-France, published throughout the Jamboree of peace (world gathering of the scouts) to Moisson in 1947.It entered to the Monde in 1951. It was there successively legal chronicler, theatrical chronicler and feuilletonist for the supplement Le Monde of the books .
It one was impassioned of veil. He in particular liked to sail starting from Granville (in the Manche) and around the archipelago of Chausey. He died of the continuations of a disease on November 14th, 2006.
