Bertioga is a balneal city Brésil ienne of the Littoral of the State of São Paulo. It is located at the south of São Paulo, by a Latitude of 23° 51 ' 14" south and by a Longitude of 46° 08 ' 20" west, with a Altitude of 8 meters. Its population was estimated at 43.763 inhabitants in 2006. The municipality extends on 492 km ².

The main activity of the municipality is the Tourisme. Bertioga was only one district of Santos until in 1993, date on which it acquires its independence.
