Bertin de Sithiu

Holy Bertin , indirect disciple of Holy Colomban, born towards 610 with Constancy close to the Swiss , died in 709, directed a long time like abbot the monastery of Sithiu to Saint-Omer, which had been founded by Audomar (holy Omer), but which accepted since in its honor the name of Bertin Saint. It is honoured the September 5th (in particular in the Calendrier of the Breton saints).
