Bernhard Luginbühl

Bernhard Luginbühl is a Swiss sculptor born in 1929 with Bern (Swiss)

Luginbül carves iron since 1953. Its meeting with Jean Tinguely in 1957 will be decisive. His/her children Basil Luginbül (born in 1960) and Jwan Luginbühl (born in 1963) were its assistants and those of Jean Tinguely, they currently continue their respective careers sculptors.

Like his/her friend Jean Tinguely, Luginbühl is the author of mechanical sculptures sometimes very imposing and not stripped of humor.
