Bernard of Poitiers
Bernard , count of Poitiers of 840 with 844/845, would be the son of the count Thierry II of Autun or its brother Alleaume.
He is the brother of Émenon of Poitiers, († June 22nd 866)
Died of Louis the Piles, it succeeds Renaud, which had been placed at the head of the county of Poitiers by the emperor. It joins to the son of Renaud, Herve count d' Herbauges, against Lambert, the count de Nantes revolted against Charles the Bald person. Lambert beats them and keep silent before invading the Poitou.
Married to Bilchilde (girl of Rorgon Ier of Maine), it has a son Bernard de Gothie or of Septimanie, († ap 879), marquis de Septimanie, and count de Berry and of Autun in 876.
