Bernard de Septimanie

Bernard de Septimanie , (v. 800 - † 844). Wire of Guillaume de Gellone and Cunégonde. It was count de Toulouse and of Autun, duke of Septimanie and count de Barcelone of 826 with 832.
Bernard de Septimanie was invested of this Duché in 820 by Louis I {{er}} '' the Piles '', of which it was the Chambellan. He enjoyed such a favor at the court of the emperor, that one showed it of adultery with the empress Judith of Bavaria. Louis stripped it of his duchy in 832, but it returned it to him the following year, because it had supported it against his revolted sons. Having supported later the rebellion of Pip II of Aquitaine, it was put at died at Toulouse by Charles the Bald person in (844).
The June 29th 824, with Aachen, Bernard de Septimanie married Dhuoda (v. 800 - 843).
From this union was born two wire:
- Guillaume de Septimanie born on November 29th 826, which was count d' Agen, and died decapitated in 849 on order of Charles the Bald person, not to have respected its promise while trying to seize the steps of Spain and Barcelona.
- Bernard Plantevelue, born on March 22nd 841 with Uzès. It was count d' Auvergne.
Of 841 to its death in 843, Dhuoda wrote a Manuel for my son , first known treaty of education.
