Biography

Originating in the family Quatrebarbes , of old knighthood Angevin E, originating in the Poitou, it left the Polytechnic school, whose doors opened for him, in order to go to take in the pontifical armed the left place vacuum by death with his cousin, Georges d' Héliand, and who wounded mortally the October 25th 1867 with Monte Rotondo, still continued to direct his battery, forced the admiration of the Red Chemises and died with the blessing of Pie IX. The marquis de Quatrebarbes, his father had of Magpie IX the cross deserved by his son; itself rendered important services to its country by its theoretical studies on agriculture, the encouragements and the examples practical which it gave.
