Bernard Van Craeynest
Bernard Van Craeynest , born the February 9th 1957 is the current president of the CFE-CGC, the trade-union confederation of framing CGC. He was elected the December 22nd 2005, vis-a-vis the president of CNAV Danièle Karniewicz, following the death of the former president Jean-Luc Cazettes, and after the interim of Jean-Louis Walter. He is re-elected in December 2006 with only 66% of the voices, after-effect of the conflict of the previous year.
Holder of a BTS physico-metallographer, it adheres to the CGC in 1983. He is named central union delegate of the Snecma (become Safran since). In 1992, it enters to the management committee of the federation of metallurgy CGC and to the confederal committee. It becomes in 1998, national secretary of the federation of metallurgy CGC then in 2001, deputy vice-president of the federation of metallurgy CGC and president of this one in 2004
He is member of the Economic and Social Council since September 2004.
Often called “BVC” in the confederation.
With beginning of the year 90, he was elected Republican party with the Plessis-Trévise.
