Bernard Seurre
Bernard Gabriel Seurre known as elder Seurre is a French sculptor born with Paris in 1795 and died in this same city in 1867.
Biography
Raise of the sculptor Pierre Cartellier, Bernard Seurre gained in 1818 the Prix of Rome of sculpture with a relief having for subject Chélonis beseeching the grace of its husband Cléombrote .Bernard Seurre took part of 1833 in 1836 in the decoration of the Triumphal arch of Star in Paris, drawing even a project for his crowning in 1833.
His/her younger brother Charles Emile Seurre (1798 - 1858) was also sculptor.
