Business Clearstream 2
Bernard Monnot admitted being the author of the one five mails arrived at the magistrate Renaud van Ruymbeke within the framework of the Affaire Clearstream 2. This posted mail of Lyon consisted of a CD-ROM containing of the lists of accounts of Clearstream. The fifth mail was posted in Lyon on June 7th, 2004 and arrived at Paris on June 9th, 2004.
This file was with the hands of Denis Robert and Ernest Backes, joint authors of the book Révélation$ devoted to Clearstream, who distributed of it the copy to which wanted.
Bernard Monnot affirmed to have acted as any transparency with the agreement of the judge Renaud van Ruymbeke and to have said to have been surprised that its missive was " anonymisée" in the procedure. Estimating that the former banker had acted in good faith, the two judges did not put it in examination and granted the statute of " to him; witness assisté".
The ex-vice-president of EADS, Jean-Louis Gergorin, put in examination on June 1st, 2006 for " denunciation calomnieuse" and " forgery and use of faux" , admitted being the author of the four others of the five mails " anonyms" addressed to the judge Renaud van Ruymbeke.
September 12th, 2006, Bernard Monnot was heard by the judge Renaud van Ruymbeke in load of the Affaire of the frigates of Taiwan.
