Bernard Merdrignac
Bernard Merdrignac, born with Dinan (Coast-with Armor) in 1947, is professor of medieval history at the University Rennes 2 - High Brittany. Its thesis, constant in 1982, was published in 2 volumes under the title Recherches on the Armorican hagiography of VIIe in XVe century , Saint-Malo, Dossiers of CeRAA , H-1985 - I-1986. Permanent member of the UMR 6566 CNRS Atlantic Civilizations and Archéosciences” and researcher associated with CeRHIO Research center Histories with West” FRE 3004 CNRS, he is the author of many publications on the hagiography and the religious and cultural history of the Brittany of the Early middle ages, as well as several university handbooks. He is, in addition, president of Association for the Publication of the Annales of Brittany and the Countries of the West and vice-president of CIRDOMOC Research center and of Documentation on the Celtic Monachism” - Landévennec.
