Bernard How

Bernard How is a writer Suisse born the April 20th 1960 with Porrentruy. It is wire of the painter Jean-François How and father of a Thomas child. It was formed with Geneva at Jean Starobinski and with Paris at Roland Barthes. In 1986, it is established in Toscane where during four years, it taught with the Université of Pisa and worked as sports correspondent, before spending three years as researcher to Paris to the Sorbonne. Established in Paris, it published its first novel in 1990, under the title the shade of memory . From 1993 to 1994, it profits from a one year stay to the Villa Médicis which belongs to the Academy from France to Rome since 1803, stay which inspires to him a lampoon against this type of pension of State .

It has coécrit with Alain Tanner the scenario of the film Fourbi (1995) and with Bertrand Theubet, realizer with TSR, the foot in the anthill (1998), drawn from its novel.

In the Nineties, Bernard How was also secretary of the Swiss Association of football. In 1999, it was appointed Directeur of the fiction with France Culture.
