Bernard Debreu
Bernard Debreu born on March 7th 1946 is a French politician. He is the current mayor of Seclin since 2001 and vice-president of the urban community of Lille. Former railwayman, Bernard Debreu is militant of long time to the PCF. His/her father is old resistant.
Bernard Debreu adheres to the French Communist party in 1967, then takes part in the strike of May 1968 with Workshop the SNCF of Hellemmes. In 1974, Alain Bocquet proposes to him to take the head of the communist federation of the Northern department , then Debreu deals with the questions of youth at the national level.
In 1977, he becomes city council man with Ronchin. It will carry out two mandates there before settling with Seclin and being elected there in 1988. At the time of the mandate of Jean Claude Willem in 1991, he is elected First Assistant. In 2001, he is elected mayor of Seclin by the municipal council following the withdrawal of Jean Claude Willem. He is the candidate PCF of the 5th district of North to the legislative elections of 2007.
