Bernard Cavana

Bernard Cavana is a Compositeur French born in 1951 with Nogent-sur-Marne, pianist of formation. He works with Henri Dutilleux, Aurel Stroë, Georges Aperghis and Paul Méfano but is regarded nevertheless primarily as a Autodidacte.

He often works in connection with directors of theater and cinema like Jean Gillibert, Antoine Vitez, Alain Fleischer, with the choreographers Angelin Preljocaj, Caroline Marcadé.

Stock Exchange of Creation 1984, Villa Médicis 1985, Platform of the type-setters of UNESCO 1994, Price SACEM 1998, Victoire of the music 2000. He is director of the National school of Music of Gennevilliers.
