Bernard Blais is Public prosecutor close the Court of Appeal Agen.
In September 2007, he refused his change close the Court of appeal, in eight month of his retirement, by the Minister of Justice Rachida Dati. This decision of change was maintained by the minister in spite of the unfavorable opinion given by the Superior council of the magistrature (CSM) and the opposition of the majority of the trade unions of the magistrature. Bernard Blais seized the Council of State in October 2007.
This refusal of change crystallized in September - October 2007 the debate on the tender of the French parquet floors to the authority of the Chancellerie and the French Ministre for justice of the time, Rachida Dati.
