Course

Bernard Antony is initially member of the catholic Youth coed, which it leaves later, finding it too on the left. At the time of its military service with Pau, he sympathizes with OAS, and is imprisoned to have distributed leaflets favorable to this one (he is released because being minor). During its studies of Right to Toulouse, militates in the years 1960, with the Rassemblement of the public Spirit (REFERENCE MARK), movement anti Gaulliste and pro French Algérie. He is at the same time general secretary of the National federation of the students of France (FNEF) in Toulouse, classified on the right and making the punch against the students of extreme-left, then goes up with Helene Sabatier, current secretary of the AGRIF, and Georges-Paul Wagner, the “Circle Jean de Brem”. Once the dissolved REFERENCE MARK and after the failure of the candidature of Jean-Louis Tixier-Vignancour for the presidential election of 1965, Bernard Antony joined in 1966 the Movement young revolution (MJR) related to solidaristic Russian who became the solidaristic Mouvement French, that it continues to animate whereas he is professor in a school with Castres. He works then in the aircraft industry then pharmaceutical, and takes part in 1982 in the foundation of the newspaper national-catholic Présent , monthly magazine then daily.

In first half of the Years 1980, it is responsible for the National center of independent and country the for Toulouse and its area. It joined then the National front at the time of the European ones of 1984. In March 1986, it carries out list FN of Haute-Garonne at the time of the legislative elections; this one obtains 10% of the votes cast, but any elected official. On the other hand, he is elected, this same month, regional adviser of the Midday-Pyrenees. He was re-elected in 1992 and 1998. Until 1999, it was also European Député.

Very committed on the associative ground Catholic, it represents the sensitivity “traditionalist” of the National front. He is the president of the Agrif, of the Center Henri and André Charlier (whom he founded in 1980), of Christendom-Solidarity, copresident of the Circle of Jewish and Christian French Friendship (with Jean-Pierre Cohen and Serge de Beketch), and was, inter alia, one of the founders of the newspaper Présent , where he used of the Pen name of Romain Marie .

He made known his dissension with the “modernistic” line incarnated by Marine Le Pen and gave up his responsibilities within the political office for the FN.

He animates every 4 weeks a Libre Newspaper 3 hours on Radio Courtesy (Wednesday, of 18:00 to 21:00).

He is sometimes called, in particular by political adversaries, the ayatollah cassoulet .
