Bernadette Bensaude-Vincent
Bernadette Bensaude-Vincent is a Philosophe and French historian.
Incorporated philosophy in 1971 and arts doctor and social sciences in 1981, Bernadette Bensaude-Vincent is Professor of history and philosophy of Sciences to the Université of Paris X (Nanterre) and to the École of the high studies in social sciences (EHESS).
Depuis 2000, it also responsible for the sector Materials Research in the program History off recent and technology is science financed by the Fondation Sloan and the funds Dibner with the Massachusetts Institute off Technology (MIT).
Elle is member of the Ethics committee of CNRS.
Biography

Of 1992 to 1995, it directed the research program Sciences and public supported by the Research center in history of sciences of the Cité of sciences and industry (CSI);
- In 1993, it was professor invited to Universidad Autonoma of Madrid;
- Of 1993 to 1997, it directed the Langage program and Communication in chemistry within the framework of the European Program on “the Evolution of the chemistry (1789-1939)” of the European Fondation of science;
- Of 1996 to 1999, it was professor invited to the Université of Vienna (1996, 1999), to the Université of Bielefeld (1997) and to the Université of Geneva (1998);
- Of 1998 to 2002, it directed the DEA Histoire of philosophy, history and philosophy of sciences and the Center of history and philosophy of sciences of University of Paris X (Nanterre). It was also indicated assistant editor of the doctoral school knowledge and culture of Paris X. Simultaneously, it took the presidency of section 72 of the National council of the universities.
- In 2001, it was appointed researcher invited to the very prestigious the Max Planck Institute fur Wissenschaftgeschichte of Berlin.
- In 2003, it taught as a professor invited to Puntifica Universidade of Sao Paulo.
Research topics
Bernadette Bensaude-Vincent is the author of a hundred writings dealing with the Positivisme, of the Histoire of the Chimie and the chemical technologies, of the relationship between Sciences and Public.
