Berlinghieri baroness
Baroness Berlinghieri or Barone di Berlinghiero da Lucca is an Italian painter Gothic credit 1228 to 1282 with Lucques.
He is the son of Berlinghiero Berlinghieri, which forms it like his/her brothers Marco and Bonaventura within the family workshop of the Berlinghieri in Lucques.
He is mentioned for the first time in common with Berlinghiero and Bonaventura in a list of the citizens lucquois of the year 1228. It is supposed that it was oldest of the three brothers.
I painted a painting for the archbishop of Lucques in 1243 and delivered in 1256 a crucifix for the church Casabasciana de Lucques.
In 1282, it began for the church San Francesco a crucifix, a Madonna and a San Andrea , unfinished of its hand, then completed (without one knowing by which artist).
As for the family protagonists of the workshop, respective attributions are difficult.
