Berlage (crater)
The Berlage crater is an old lunar crater in the southern hemisphere and on the side hidden of the moon. The small crater Bellinsgauzen is attached to the northern part of its ring, the crater Cabannes is located at a distance equal to the diameter of Berlage and its North-West. With the east-north-east of the crater, there is the crater Lemaître.
This formation is praticulière owing to the fact that it has a great density of impact smaller, these small craters are located inside Berlage and on its rings, especially on the northern part. The crater underwent beacoup erosion, and original characteristics were very faded with the passage of time. A combination of three small craters are located on the northern side of the ring, to the east coast of the ring where the Bellinsgauzen crater is located.
Localization
Satellite craters
The craters known as satellite are small craters located near the principal crater, they are named same name but accompanied by a complementary capital letter (even if the formation of these craters is independent of the formation of the principal crater). By convention these characteristics are indicated on the lunar charts while placing the letter on the point nearest to the principal crater. List satellite craters of Berlage :
