Beretta 92

The Beretta 92 is a semi-automatic Pistolet Italy N conceived by Beretta and started production its first version in 1976.

It is about an improvement of the model 1951 which was a considerable business success. Adoptee inter alia by the armies Italian, French, of which in particular the Gendarmerie ( Beretta 92G or FARMHOUSE G1) and part of the American army (under name M9 for the 92F and M10 for the 92FS).

It is licensed product in Egypt, with the Brésil ( Taurus PT-92 , local version of the 92S) and in South Africa (in the form of the Vektor Z-88 with which the dog is full.

This Arme is a gun of very traditional design, relatively bulky and heavy compared to the more modern weapons whose Glock 17 was the precursor, which does not pose a particular problem for the military applications. Beretta 92 is a weapon with the tested design which is characterized by its charger of 15 blows in 9 mm Parabellum and a great reliability. This last point is sometimes blamed, it is however difficult to make the share of the things being given the very great number of weapons in circulation and the multitude of the productions under license granted by Beretta.
