Berdsk
Berdsk (in Russian: Бердск ) is a satellite town of Novossibirsk, in Russia, located in the south of the Western Siberia. The city is with the confluence of the river Berd and the Ob along southern bank of the Réservoir of Novossibirsk. The population of Berdsk is of: 90700 inhabitants (2005).
The agglomeration was created in 1716. The statute of city was acquired in 1944. The city was moved upstream of the confluence after its original site was covered by water with the tank with Novossibirsk in 1957.
