Berbéris with boxwood sheets
The Berbéris with boxwood sheets ( Berberis buxifolia ) is a shrubby plant (2,50 m) of the family of the Berberidaceae . She is native South of the Argentine and Chile. Its fruits are edible and one regards it as a symbol of the Patagonie, where it is called Calafate .
It is a plant Sempervirent E with small sheets with the thorny end and of color dark green. The flowers Hermaphrodite S are solitary, of color yellow-orange. Spherical fruits, of blue color with crimson.
