Bennecourt

Bennecourt is a common department of the Yvelines, in the area Île-de-France, in France, located at approximately 15 km in the North-West of Mantes-the-Pretty.

Geography

It is a rural district located in edge of the Seine, on Right Bank of the river, in the concavity of a meander. In addition to the principal village, it counts two Hameau X, Gloton and Tripleval.

The commune is bordering on Limetz-Villez in the west, of Gommecourt in north. It is separated by the Seine, in the south and the east, of Jeufosse, the Bonnières-on-Seine and Freneuse.

The communal territory includes, completely or partially several island S of the Seine. A road bridge connects the locality to Bonnières.

History
