Benji Marshall

Benji Marshall is a New Zealand player of Rugby to XIII, born the February 25th 1985 in Whakatane, New Zealand. It measures 1m81 and weighs 85kg. He currently plays for the Wests Tigers and the national team of New Zealand. Its station of predilection is half of opening.

Benji Marshall began Rugby with the XV and the touch football. It will be even selected in the junior team of All Blacks. At 15 years, it leaves on a journey to Australia where it discovers Rugby with XIII there. Marshall is invited to remain to play in the school of Keebra Park. It there will become the captain and will be selected for the Queensland and the New Zealand. Its school is associated with West Tigers where it will play there later.

Marshall makes its beginnings in NRL, in July 2003, at the 18 years age, vis-a-vis the Newcastle Knights. In 2004, it makes party of the squad. In spite, many wounds, in particular with the shoulder, it gains the title into 2005 vis-a-vis the North Queensland Cowboys.

Benji Marshall is one of the most gifted players and most spectacular of its generation. It is known for its side step , that one can translate into French by not dance .

With Kiwis, it is selected for the Tri-Nations 2005, it will not be able to play it due to wound.
