Benito Montano Arias
Benito Arias Montano or Benedictus Arias Montanus (1527-1598), was a Spanish Orientaliste 16th century.
It had the languages Greek that, Latin E and Eastern. It appeared with distinction with the Concile of Thirty, then went to be locked up in the cloister of Aracena in Andalusia. Philippe II drew some, and with an edition of the polyglot Bible charged it, which was printed with Antwerp (1569-72), increased chaldaïques Paraphrases , and of nine books of Jewish Antiquités .
He refused one évêché, and was satisfied with the title of chaplain of the king. ----
