Bendorf
Bendorf is a common French, located in the department of the Haut-Rhin and the area Alsace. One manufactured there formerly shoes.
The small village of Bendorf nevertheless is animated (local Fair on January 20th, May 3rd) and maintenance of many pedestrian paths marked out as well as a campsite (the Camp-site of the Beeches).
Geography
History
Bendorf belonged to the county of Ferrette (past in Habsbourg in 1324, in France in 1648). The village was pledged to the lords of the castle of Liebenstein.

Places and monuments
One will notice there in particular the Farm of Schutzenwald and a house going back to 1554, as well as works of architecture crowned such as: the Church Holy-Cross 1783, the Vault of the cemetery 1802 and the Cross of the Plague 1624.
