Ben Folds

Benjamin Scott Folds is a American Chanteur , born the September 12th 1966 in Winston-Salem in North Carolina (the United States). It is in particular known to have belonged to the group Ben Folds Five and is an emblematic figure of the Piano rock'n'roll.

Primarily known for its prowesses with the Piano, he is also a follower of the Guitare, low , and battery. He originally became famous as a member of the rock group Ben Folds Five. Ben published 4 albums solo: Fear off Pop: Volume 1 , Rockin' the Suburbs , Ben Folds Live , and Songs for Silverman . Fear off Pop was published when Ben Folds Five was still in action. The albums Suburbs , Live , and Songs for Silverman were them afterwards published.

But as Fear off Pop is largely experimental and Live is a collection of recordings of pieces into live, originally recorded with the Ben Folds Five , that of Rockin' the Suburbs is officially the first proper album solo of left Ben, in whom it recorded the majority of the instruments itself. End 2003, they are two solos Speed Graphic and Sunny 16 which are published. And with a third heading Super D with the mid- 2004.

Its group, Ben Folds Five (1994-2000) was a group of five trained members with Chapel Hill, in North Carolina. They played what one could call of the piano with dominant Pop-rock'n'roll. The majority of their songs were influenced by the Jazz, with impromptu passages. Ben Folds, the singer leader of the group and pianist, who also wrote the majority of the songs, Robert Sledge, with low, Darren Jessee with the percussions, Alex Queen with the guitar, Jane Scorp' S with the gong. After the separation of the group, Folds began a career in solo. The remainder of the group continued to play of the orchestral music to the brass band of Sanem.

When one questioned it in connection with the name of his group he answered the interviewer: “you want to say that a quintet species of uncultivated they are not five people? ”
