BenQ

BenQ Corporation is a Taiwanese company whose seat is located at Taoyuan. The company acquired its independence of Acer on December 5th, 2001 while being equipped with divisions communications and multi-media of its head office which was centred on the production and the distribution of computers and monitors.

BenQ is specialized in the design, production and the electronic product sales intended today for the general public such as: the peripherals data processing (keyboard, mouse, monitors, video projectors…), mobile devices (wandering, readers MP3 Joy' Bee' , cameras numerical, telephones) and laptops and media centers.

The factories of BenQ are based in Taiwan and in China, its sales turnover in 2004 was established to 5,7 Md$ and 10.100 people were employed.

The operation of a group such as BenQ is particular: the subsidiary companies are autonomous and quoted on the stock exchange, the capital intensive bonds are very numerous between these companies and other major actors in Taiwan.
