Comments
- Belphégor is played by a MIME of the name of Isaac Alvarez. The only possibility of seeing its true face in the serial is to see it at the time of a dinner in which Bellegarde takes part, of which it is one of the majordomo.
- Claude Barma worked over again the scenario to add a key of esotericism and to bring up to date the history to it. Thus in the serial, the goal of Belphégor is not any more to find the treasure of the Kings de France but to find the metal of Paracelse, secrecy of the Rosicrucian brotherhood.
- the rooms of the Musée of Louvre were recreated in a studio of Saint-Maurice.
- an animated series inspired of the serial saw the day in autumn 2000 on France 2, by Jean-Christophe Roger, produced by Mireille Roulé, drawn by Frederic Bézian.
- During its diffusion, the audience reaches 10 million Téléspectateurs.
- It is the Château of Médan which was useful for the residence of diabolic Boris Williams.
- It is a house of the Vésinet, close to the Lake Croissy, which was useful for outsides of the house of Hodwin Lady.
