Belorusse Association of the journalists
The Belorusse Association of the journalists is an defense organization of the Freedom of expression in Bielorussia.
Founded in 1995, it is affiliated with the worldwide association of the newspapers and Reporters without borders.
In 2003, the worldwide association of the newspapers decreed with Dublin its Plume of gold of freedom to Zhanna Litvina, president of the Belorusse Federation of the journalists.
In 2004 the European Parliament allots to association the Prix Sakharov for the independence of the mind for its action faces the “repression carried out by the mode of the president Alexender Lukashenko against the media”. The same year, 19 newspapers were closed, and a journalist was found died.
