Belnet is the Belgian domestic network research . It provides the universities, research centres and public services in Belgium.

Belnet is financed by the Belgian state, for this reason it does not propose its services with the private individuals in order to avoid any unfair competition towards the others ISP.

Belnet is moreover in load of BNIX.
