Bellflower

The bellflowers (kind Campanula of Latin " small Bell ") are long-lived or bi-annual herbaceous plants of the family of the Campanulacées. Their flowers, blue or violets, are hermaphrodites. The chalice presents five teeth, often rather narrow. The corolla, out of bell, opens in five lobes. Five cheesecloths. Ovary infère. Solitary style. The fruit is a capsule with many seeds.
