The believed of the Mississippi of 1927 was the most catastrophic Inondation of the Histoire of the United States. The floods caused the death of 200 people and the displacement forced of: 500000 others. The overflow of the Mississippi was caused by intense precipitations during the summer 1926. Next spring, the Mississippi destroyed the dams in 145 different points to flood 70000 km ². The flood made more than 400 million dollars of damage and affected six states: the Arkansas, the Illinois, the Kentucky, the Louisiana, the the Mississippi and the Tennessee.
