Believed of project
In a hydraulic project of work (Stopping or Dam), one considers a raw project, it is that for which the work was dimensioned, and for which the transit will be carried out without risk nor damage on the work. One also has, for the whole of the hydraulic works introduces a concept of " Raw of sécurité" , for which one admits a less sure operation of the work (reduction in effective revenge, discharges), even of the damage on the work, but without risk of rupture.
On the stoppings for which a study of Risque was led, there is a concept of " dimension danger" , which corresponds to the Cote from which one does not guarantee any more the behavior of the work. It would be nevertheless hazardous to pass from the " dimension danger" with a " believed of danger" , because several same risings can lead to obtaining the dimension of danger and of more than other factors can modify the answer rising-height (example: blocking of a valve).
For a work of protection against the risings, the situation is a little less simple: several levels of rising are to be considered for the dimensioning of the work, the risings quoted above and the rising of project of protection. The rising of project of protection is the rising against which the work of protection is conceived to protect the downstream from the stopping or the zone behind the dam. This concept does not apply to the other stoppings or dams.
