Belgrade (Namur)

Belgrade (in Walloon Belgråde ) is a section of the Belgian city of Namur located in Walloon region in the Province of Namur.
It was a commune with whole share before the fusion of the communes of 1977. It (800 inhabitants approximately at the time) was detached from the commune of Flawinne in 1897, before joining Namur at the time of the fusion of the communes, on January 1st 1977.
It is twinned with the city Serbe and homonym of Belgrade.
Its football club is called the Red Star of Belgrade (colors: green, red, White) just like the team of the Serb city.
