Belén Gopegui

Belén Ruiz de Gopegui (1963 with Madrid -) is a Spanish novelist .

Biography

Belén Ruiz de Gopegui studied the Droit to the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid and it started to work for newspapers like El ground .

Its first novel the escala of los mapas obtain prices: Premio Tiger Juan and Premio Iberoamericano Santiago del Nuevo Extremo. Gerardo Herrero made the film Las razones of put amigos (2000) starting from its novel conquista LED surface (1998).

Francisco Umbral regards it as the best writer of its generation. It is Communiste and made articles on Cuba.
