Bekaa
The flat of Bekaa is located in the oriental party of the Lebanon, between the mounts of Lebanon and the Anti Lebanon. Baalbek marks separation enters, in north, the basin of the Oronte (Nahr Al-ESA in Arabic), and with the south the basin of the Litani. Average altitude is approximately 900 mètres.
The plain extends on 120 km over a width from 8 to 14 km.
The southernmost part, that the Lebanese one call " Bekaa Ouest" because of axis NE-SW of the plain, is limited by the Jabal Gharbi.
Bekaa produces Céréale S, Coton, Chanvre and Fruit S in the irrigated areas .
