Also, will be consigned there: its sporting exploits (In its youth, Kerouac was large sportsman), its entry with the university, its happy beginning of life , and its devotion with his/her mother, in an almost incestueuse relation.

Comment of work

The verifiable aspect formally autobiographical of the book stops there, in the middle of that enchases scenes phantasmagoric, or particularly banal, but whose tragic intensity is amplified by Kerouac largely inspired (like it confesses it itself) and delivers tasty moments of literature.

A book with reading for any person wanting to absolutely include/understand On the road , Doctor Sax , and a fortiori the whole of the work of Kerouac.

Its first book plunges the reader directly in environment, in its world, and can only force admiration for this very young writer at the time of the drafting (this book will be published only after On the road ).
