History

In 1997, Kōichi Mashimo, old employee of Tatsunoko, creates Bee Train as a subsidiary company of Production I.G.

During the creation of Bee Train, Mashimo wanted that the studio becomes a " Hospital for organizer " , i.e. a studio more centered on the discovery of new talents and the artistic quality of its productions rather than on a strategy of company of profitability. This idea would have come in Mashimo at the time of a stay to the hospital following an accident of ski.

The first projects of the studio are mainly adaptations of video games popular to Japan like PoPoLoCrois , Wild Arms , Arc the Lad , and Medabots .

A few years later, Bandai joined Bee Train to produce a series animated in order to promote the video games .hack. This association leads to the creation of the series .hack//Sign , diffused on TV Tokyo in 2002 like with the production of 4 OAV, .hack//Liminality , added as no-claims bonus in the 4 original plays of the frankness. In 2006, Bee Train produced .hack//Roots , a préquel with the plays .hack//G.U .

The first project independent of Bee Train is Noir . Diffused in 2001, this series is the first opus of the trilogy of the " girls-with-guns" ==
