Become wizard, become erudite

Become wizard, become erudite is a book published in the editions Odile Jacob by Georges Charpak and Henri Broch.

It is about an attack against various positions which move away from scientific orthodoxy, and mainly against the paranormal and its holding, written in order to be comprehensible without scientific formation. A certain number of “tricks” of mystifiers are explained, various traditional errors of reasoning are dismounted. The authors are caught some with Élizabeth Teissier, with TF1, but also Arte (of which he is pointed out that for its first day of hertzian diffusion, its first “scientific” emission was devoted to the influences claimed on the matter of the shape of the pyramid) and to “antinuclear”. Sociological data on the belief of the French in the paranormal are quoted in appendix.

on August 9th, 2002 Yves Lignon assigns in justice Mr. Henri Broch and Mr. Georges Charpak in order to obtain repair following an attack of which he suffered during the publication of the book Devenez wizard, become erudite .
on February 16th, 2005, the court déboute M. Yves Lignon of his requests.
