" Because Off you" is the fourth individual one of Breakaway, the album of the American singer pop-rock'n'roll, Kelly Clarkson.

Birth of Because Off you

" Because Off you" is Co-writing by Kelly Clarkson, David Hodges and Ben Moody (ex-member of the group Evanescence. It has Co-writing two songs with Kelly) and produced by David Hodges and Ben Moody. It is one of the most personal songs of Kelly Clarkson because she had initially written it all alone when she was 16 years old to help it during the difficult period following the divorce of her parents. Kelly Clarkson declared that it finally could forget this sorrow thanks to its faith as a God.

Several years later, Kelly Clarkson gives " Because Off you" in David Hodges and Ben Moody so that they can improve the song for his Breakaway album. She says to them that she will include/understand if they do not like the song and if they want to write an any news with her. Quite to the contrary, Ben Moody and David Hodges are impressed by the song and, with Kelly Clarkson, they modify it until its final form.

In the song, Kelly Clarkson deplores the traumatism which it underwent while singing: " Because off you, I never stray too far from the sidewalk. Because off you, I learn to play one the safe side so I don' T get hurt. Because off you, I find it hardware to trust, not only me, goal everyone around me, because off you I amndt afraid. Because off you."

The song became a world hit.

As it did for " Behind Thesis Hazel Eyes" , Kelly Clarkson wrote the script of the clip itself; it is produced by Vadim Perelman. The clip is based on the true history of the disturbed childhood of Kelly Clarkson. Had with the topic of the clip, she asked for the permission of her parents before creates it. Small the Kelly Clarkson is played by a seven year old girl.

The clip begins one afternoon at the house of Clarkson. There, Kelly and her husband are to engage in a great discussion. At a point, this last takes a photograph of him and Kelly Clarkson and threatens to crush it. But it forever the chance because, suddenly, time stops and the husband became motionless; Kelly, on the other hand, is immunized with that. Looking around the house, she sees, with surprise, a version of itself when she was seven years old.

Finally, one sees the parents of Kelly Clarkson brawling and being sent objects to the figure, all that in front of the eyes of the Kelly young person. Some time afterwards, one sees the dad Kelly to leave the hearth with a bag. The Kelly young person tries to prevent it but in vain. She looks at the car from going away, impotent. Filled of its painful memories, large the Kelly Clarkson saw some and turns over enough in the present. She moves towards her husband and removes the photograph of her hands. Time returns normal and both are tightened in the arms. The proper girl of Kelly Clarkson appears timidly in a corner of the house. Kelly Clarkson finally could break the cycle to have a dysfonctionnelle family.

The clip was officially launched on October 3rd, 2005 in the USA. It quickly climbed the charts for finally reaching the place #1.

" Because Off you" made very well in the chart American and Canadian or it was classified #7 and #2 respectively. Universally, it also made very well because it was classified in Signal 10 of almost all the countries where it was launched. It was for two weeks the world #1.
